Who is Alfred?
I am a Cali Kid in and out, though a citizen of Earth. I love exploring what the world has to offer in both nature and humanity. I believe that we never stop learning and growing as people. In attempt to see as much as I can and live a long life, I enjoy doing CrossFit. When I'm not hiking, off-roading or camping with friends and family, I'm making sure my pup, Halo, is having the best life that I can provide for her. I'm the opposite of a crazy cat lady, I'm a crazy dog dad!
Typically, I'm a night owl, but have been becoming more of a morning person since becoming a dog dad... Creativity seems to hit me when everyone has settled in for the night, so when that gets going, there's no stopping it.
I'm spontaneous and irrational, but yet love structure.
Art, the process and the expression of it, is what I find challenging and fulfilling.
My Philosophy, Approach, and Style
Timeless, romantic, dramatic - all full of intention, is how I describe my style. Each love story is not the same and should not be approached with a cookie cutter. Through a trusting relationship, I'm able to understand each couple as individuals and as well as lovers. Then I am able to produce the most emotionally invoking and stunning image that is unique to their story.
On wedding day, in addition to your love story, I'm inspired by the setting and mood of the location or venue the wedding. Bringing these elements together in a photo truly speaks a thousand words.
Ultimately, I want the newlyweds - and really for anyone who views the photos - to feel how the day was rather than just what happened.
